Hello Scouts and Parents!
Popcorn selling time is Here! For those of you that don't know, the only fundraiser the Cub Scouts have is the Great Popcorn Sale. Each Scout is given a specified amount of popcorn to sell and the proceeds help fund Pack activities. Additionally, Scouts can win prizes based on the amount of popcorn they sell. This is a big endeavor and is vitally important to the Pack. Please read the following information very carefully, and if you have questions you can email anyone on the popcorn committee or ask at the upcoming Pack meeting on September 17. Very important, please use the links at the bottom to print off order sheets (you will need these to sell popcorn). You can also print off donation receipts, order receipts and Scout business cards.

Scouts are to pick up their popcorn at Specialized Electric (1041 Thousand Oaks Trail, Verona, WI 53593) on Saturday morning, September 19. The schedule for pick up is as follows:
8:00am  Den 3
8:15am  Den 2

8:30am  Den 12
8:45am  Den 4
9:00am  Den 9
9:15am  Den 5
9:30am  Den 6
9:45am  New Tiger Den(s)
10:00am  Last call  (Scout orders not picked up will be sent to den leaders)
There will be information packets, order forms and envelopes and other selling helps distributed with the popcorn.

Again, in order to make everything go smoothly, please read the following information carefully and don't hesitate to ask questions.  Let's make this a great success and Have Fun!

October Pack 549 Meeting


Date:  Thursday, Oct 23, 2014

Place:  Glacier Edge Elementary School
Time:  6:30pm
Theme:  Carnival Games
Popcorn Sales Ends, Wednesday OCT 22, 2014





BRING YOUR EMPTY BOXES.   The products need to be returned in the original boxes or else the Pack is charged.
PICK YOUR PRIZES
1.  Bring completed order form sheets (KEEP COPIES) clearly marked if orders have been filled or not and money has been collected.
2.  Bring all money in envelopes with Name and Den number (including money for items for orders to be filled).  If possible, convert the cash to a check payable to Pack 549.  We have lots of money to count.
4. Complete inventory popcorn sheets (see email sent with information).
5.  Bring all unsold popcorn.
6.  Orders will be filled with left over popcorn from the popcorn brought to the meeting.
7.  After the meeting, check to see if your order has been filled.  If your order was not filled, we will order the items from Council.
8.  Back ordered Popcorn will arrive around  Nov 15 -16.
9.  Arrange a time with your den leader your den leader to arrange a time to turn in all the items listed above by Oct 23.


NOTE:  All unsold popcorn must be returned by Thursday, Oct 23.  Otherwise, the Scout will be responsible for it.

All money, orders, and unsold popcorn must be turned in on Thursday, Oct 23, 2014
Back order popcorn will be available the weekend of Nov 15 -16.

Note:  The Chocolate products will melt if left out in your car!  You are responsible for the product.


KEEP YOUR BOXES - WE NEED THEM FOR LEFT OVER POPCORN RETURN


If you are done selling let Shannon Churchill know so you can turn in your leftover popcorn and the popcorn can be distributed to the other scouts.

2014 Popcorn Pick-up


  Pick-up will be at Specialized Electric in Verona on Sat. Sept 27, 2014. Southeast of Verona off Hwy M.  Each family must make arrangements to come pick up the popcorn.  If you have more than one scout in your family the popcorn will be ready at the earliest pick up time. 


We need some helping hands on Saturday morning to help sort and hand out the popcorn. Adults and Webelos can help out.  Sorry no younger scouts/siblings.  Be there at 7:50am to 8:00am.

  2. Saturday 9/27 - Pick up popcorn at Specialized Electric (same great location as last year) and sale begins.
  3. Wednesday 10/22 - Last day of sale
  4. Thursday 10/23 - Bring money and unsold popcorn to the pack meeting.  Note we changed the pack meeting to the 4th Thursday to give everyone another week to sell.
  5. Back order popcorn - available the weekend of Nov 15 -16.
Thursday 12/18 - distribute prizes at December pack meeting.

Popcorn Pickup at Specialized Electric

The annual Popcorn Sale starts on Saturday, Sept 22, 2012.  It will end on Thursday, Oct 18, 2012 at the October Pack Meeting. 

You will be able to drive through the building and pick up your popcorn.  Specilized Electric is located in the Verona Business Park by Highway M.

We also need helping hands to help sort out the orders on Saturday.

October Pack 549 Meeting

Event:  October Pack 549 Meeting

Theme:  Halloween Spooktacular and Popcorn Sale

Come dressed in a costume.  Games, treats and fun!

Popcorn Sale
1.  Bring completed order form sheets (KEEP COPIES) clearly marked if orders have been filled or not and money has been collected.
2.  Bring all money in envelopes with Name and Den number (including money for items for orders to be filled).  If possible, convert the cash to a check.

10.  Bring your popcorn in Pecatonica boxes.  The returned product must be in the correct box when returned to the vendor so we need extra boxes to return the product.
11. ONLINE ORDERS - Transactions for online orders must be completed by midnight of Oct 19th to be counted towards dollars sold for prizes.  Shipping fees do not count towards total amount sold.  Online orders will continue to be open after the Oct 19th for orders, but, again, the dollars do not apply for prize rewards.

NOTE:  All unsold popcorn must be returned by Saturday, Oct 22.  Otherwise, the Scout will be responsible for it.

            Special thanks to Mark and Ken from Specialized Electric for hosting our popcorn distribution again this year! They donatated their space and time to our Cub Scout pack. It was an excellent weekend, and shows once again what a great community Verona is and how a few people can make a big difference!

            2009 Popcorn Fundraiser!



            The 2009 Popcorn fundraiser starts Saturday September 26th!




            Saturday September 26th is popcorn pickup at Specialized Electric. They are located in the industrial park south/east of Verona off of Hwy M. They are the building next to the UW-SwapShop. Go into the Specialized Electric parking lot and then drive to the large garage doors at the back of the building. (There's a map in the popcorn flyer.)



            Each family needs to pick up their own popcorn or make arrangements with another family. Please email Andy Frank-Loron if you can not pickup at your time below to arrange a different time slot.



            8:00 volunteers arrive - I would like 3 more adult volunteers to come and help get orders ready. Webelo scouts can come to help with their parents. Please email me ahead of time so I know how many people we have.
